Bluegrass Day at the Fair 2012

Bluegrass took the Paddock Stage by storm on Saturday, June 30 for Bluegrass Day at the Fair, cosponsored by SDBS and the North County Bluegrass & Folk Club. Band Scramble / List of Winners

We had a great turnout for this year's band scramble at Bluegrass Day at the Fair, with 16+ guitar entries, and plenty on other instruments as well. Each band performed two songs on stage, with only about 15 minutes to meet, choose songs (and a band name!), and rehearse. The winners were selected by our volunteer judges, Dan and Pat, with the help of audience applause.

The fun started with Band #1, Willow and her Area 51 Bluegrass Pickers, comprising Tom Barbarie, Nick Nicholson, Gerry Rahill, Willow Humphrey, Logan Caulkins, Norm Arndt, and Glen Bailey.
